High Density Polyethylene, or HDPE, is the material that defines everything we make.
We chose it in 1999 because nothing else could hold up to corrosive sea air, a New England winter, and an Arizona summer without asking anything of the person who owned it.
More than twenty-five years later, nothing has changed our view.
Resists moisture, bacteria, mold, and corrosive substances. Salt spray, chlorine, and pool chemicals leave no mark
UV-stabilized pigment runs through the entire profile. The color cannot chip, peel, or fade from the surface because it is the material.
No painting, sealing, staining, or seasonal treatment. Leave it outside year round in any climate.

High grade HDPE is selected specifically for furniture-grade finish on every surface and edge. It will not rot, splinter, warp, or crack under normal outdoor conditions. The structural integrity of each piece holds through years of regular use.

From Recycled Plastic to Finished Piece
The majority of our material comes from post-consumer and post-industrial HDPE, including milk jugs and laundry detergent bottles. We source from within the US wherever we reasonably can.
Every piece begins on the design table at our US facility, where raw materials are machined, assembled, and finished by our team before being packaged and shipped.
Each piece is built to furniture-grade finish across every surface and edge. The HDPE profile is cut to precise dimensions and assembled with marine-grade hardware throughout.
